British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
